U.S. Jack is frequently asked to design a hydraulic jack to suit specific needs. This past year BAE Systems put a
new truck into production. This truck was going to require a jack with higher capacity than previously supplied but the service range requirements were very specific. The collapsed height of the jack was to be 11.3” and the maximum extended height was to be 22.625” with the extension screw fully engaged. It took some time to get up to speed for production but the net result was our model D-51014, the 12-ton hi-range bottle jack. The jack has an 8” stroke and another 3.25” of height adjustment is available via the extension screw. An image of the jack shows that it does come with a carrying handle in light of the overall weight being a healthy 30 lbs., the ram and the pump piston are electroless nickel plated and the release has a black oxide coating, all of which are intended to extend the operational life of the jack.
